FFA attends Food Science and Milk Quality Contests

Today we traveled to Quinter for the Food Science and Milk Quality Contests. Our students had a fun time competing and these contests have a lot of unique components. Students evaluated milk samples for off flavors, fat content, mastitis, and identified cheese. They also identified aromas as well as evaluated customer inquiries. Congratulations to Ellie McClain for placing 5th in the Milk Quality Contest! Our Greenhands placed 4th as a team in Milk Quality and 5th as a team in Food Science!
