- 1968- Started teaching English, Assistant Coach for Track and Football
- 1980- Became Head Track Coach- 16 Years
- 1987- Became Athletic Director- started awards program for athletes and PHS Sportsmanship Award.
- 1996- Voted Area Athletic Director of the Year
- 1998- Started the KIAAA Scholarship
- 1998- Became KIAAA President
- 2001-NIAAA Kansas Award of Merit
- 2001- Kansas Athletic Director of the Year
- 2006-KIAAA Scholarship renamed to Jack Dresslar Scholarship
