Last Wednesday the Phillips County Spelling Bee was held at Thunder Ridge Middle School in Agra, and our top ten finishers competed. Austin Leanna from Logan earned third place, and Lilli Joyce took second place by spelling these words correctly: alderman, hypothesis, maraca, apricot, and diagnosis. Hallie Jerby won! She had to spell these words: polka, confidence, wikiwiki, worrisome, adios, popularity, and boutique. Way to go, girls!! We're proud of our stellar spellers. Photos by Mrs. VanDerVeen
