2020-21 School Year Brings Big Changes to PJH
August 28, 2020
This year when students and staff returned, they noticed a lot of changes, including new flooring in the cafeteria and a freshly painted office, library, and other classrooms. Many changes were made to help keep us safe from COVID-19. Upon entering the building each day, students must have their temperatures checked. In teachers’ classrooms, students sanitize their hands, and desks are disinfected at the end of each class. We eat lunch in classrooms because our cafeteria isn’t large enough to allow for social distancing. The biggest change, however, is wearing masks in the hallways and whenever we can’t be six feet apart. We asked some students how they feel about wearing masks in school.
