Eighth Graders Enjoy Hands-On Dissections in Science
October 29, 2020
Last week in Mr. Beckman’s 8th grade science classes, they started dissecting owl pellets. Owl pellets are parts of undigested food that the owls regurgitate. They usually contain bones, seeds, and fur. They had an awesome experience, and really enjoyed dissecting these and finding all sorts of skulls and bones in the fur.
