Last Tuesday Dan Klinger and David Manyara of the Phillips County Christian Foundation were here to announce the "My Hero" essay contest winners. The 8th graders wrote about a hero and what this person means to them. This year's winners were Kaitlyn McCreery and Griffin Hamons. Kaitlyn wrote about her grandpa, Ron McCreery, and Griffin wrote about his Boy Scout leader, Bob Kendall. They each received an iPad, a case, and an Apple gift card. Way to go!
