Middle School Students Rock Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge
March 25, 2022
Congratulations to the students who competed in the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge on March 9. They had to come up with a business idea, submit a business plan, create a tradeshow, and pitch their idea to a panel of judges. Seven groups submitted business ideas, and all of our students placed in the top five. Aidan Derr and Jacob Luea earned 5th place and $50 for their “Greening Hands Yard Work” business. Kinsey Archer, Caydence Ewing, and Hannah Umbarger got 4th place and $100 for their “Cups and Claws” business idea. Kalinda Meili earned 3rd place and $200 for her “Rockin’ KM Ranch” business idea, and Gabby Poels won first place and $500 for her “Chatter Box” business idea and also won $50 for giving the best 4-minute presentation. Congrats to all!
