Ms. Christofer invited Mrs. Mildred Schindler Janzen to a question and answer session in the gym for her reading students on Tuesday, March 28. Mrs. Janzen also spoke at the First Christian Church that evening. She is the author of “Surviving Hitler, Evading Stalin: One Woman’s Remarkable Escape from Nazi Germany.” It was amazing to have an award-winning author in our school, and she had a wonderful message to share: “Never give up, no matter how hard things get!”
